International Workplace Group (IWG) launches new coworking spaces in Vietnam to meet rising demand for hybrid work

Ho Chi Minh City, January 15th, 2025 – International Workplace Group (IWG), the world’s leading provider of hybrid working solutions under prominent brands such as Spaces and Regus, inaugurated a new hybrid workspace in November 2024. The company plans to open three additional coworking spaces in Vietnam by 2025 to meet the rising demand for flexible and professional workspaces in major cities.

IWG plans to open three new Regus locations in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City which include:

Regus UDIC N04 Building, Hoang Dao Thuy Street, Cau Giay District, Hanoi, opening in January 2025, covering 1,550 m² in partnership with Vietnam Media Solutions Joint Stock Company.

Coworking Spaces Aligned with Future Trends

The hybrid workspace model has seen remarkable growth post-COVID-19. With many companies adopting hybrid working as a long-term strategy, it is estimated that 30% of all commercial real estate will be coworking spaces by 2030. Hybrid work models help companies significantly reduce costs, saving an average of approximately VND 268 million per employee.

These coworking spaces integrate amenities such as shared work areas, meeting rooms, and more, offering a modern and convenient experience

The potential for hybrid work growth is immense, with an estimated 1.2 billion office workers worldwide, and the market is projected to surpass a value of VND 49 quadrillion. In 2023, IWG welcomed over 800 new partner locations and counted 83% of Fortune 500 companies among its clients.

The buildings will provide space for established firms and start-ups across a range of industries, while IWG’s “Design Your Own Office” service allows companies to tailor their space entirely to their requirements. The new Regus locations will offer facilities including private offices, meeting rooms, co-working and creative spaces.

Coworking spaces are also hubs for networking and business development, offering companies opportunities to connect and collaborate

Vietnam’s Coworking Space Market Outlook

As the hybrid work model gains momentum, many companies turn to coworking spaces as an optimal solution to reduce office expenses while offering employees flexibility, boosting productivity, and attracting top talent.

Mark Dixon, CEO & Founder of IWG, stated: “The opening of three new locations in Vietnam marks a significant milestone in our development strategy. IWG aims to provide flexible, modern coworking spaces that not only meet businesses’ growing needs but also enhance work efficiency and employee satisfaction.”

Ms. Nguyen Thi Ho Thu, Director at Mach Corporation, shared: “Through our collaboration with IWG, we are proud to introduce a new Regus center in Ho Chi Minh City, offering diverse coworking space solutions.
