Psychology is today recognised as the more popular subjects in Liberal Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences.  Understanding the complexities of the mind from a psychological point of view provides skill-sets that are invaluable in discerning human behaviours. Against this backdrop, the Management Development Institute of Singapore (MDIS) is partnering with the University of Roehampton London to offer the Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Psychological and Behavioural Science programme.

The MDIS School of Psychology offers programmes of distinct quality – a complete progression pathway from an International Foundation Diploma to a UK Bachelor’s Degree in Psychological and Behavioral Science. The programme will provide participants with a good understanding of psychology and behaviour which might also help ones to become more aware of people and their surroundings.

Upon completion of the programme, students can look forward to a rewarding career in the clinical, applied, or research setting as they will be equipped with the necessary skills and a deep understanding of psychology, including critical thinking skills, and the ability to apply psychological theories and concepts in real-life scenarios that will empower their career and beyond.

The School of Psychology also augments students’ learning and development with on-campus facilities such as a fully-equipped counselling clinic and psychological laboratory and had industrial collaborations with the Singapore Psychological Society. The MDIS School of Psychology won the Best Private Education Institution and the Gold Standard Service Provider awards for Psychology at the Jobs Central Learning Training & Education Development (T.E.D) Awards Ceremony in 2017.

WHO Vietnam currently also supports the government in developing a model of integration of mental health into general health focusing on primary healthcare[1]. As a result, there has been a great demand for the personnel in Psychology these recent years in Vietnam. Therefore, this new programme provided by MDIS and the University of Roehampton London will be undoubtledly an exceptional choice for Vietnamese students.
